THE LEARNING CIRCLE FOR FIRST TIMERS
NEW!! This season, Belleayre is opening the Learning Circle to snowboarders. Sign up at the Discovery Lodge and learn to ski or learn to snowboard. The learing area will teach the basics of skiing or riding from our instructors. We have staff available seven days a week to usher you through the Learning Circle stations as you prepare for the next level of terrain. Lift ticket required!
Price: $15 for skiers/riders
Ages: 8 to adult
Weekends/Holidays: Groups form continuously from 9 AM-3 PM for an un-timed lesson. Skiers/riders are free to progress at their own pace.
Midweek: Groups form at 10 AM, 11:30 AM and 1 PM; for a 1 hour lesson.
(1½ hours for 3+ people)

JUST FOR KIDS LEARNING CIRCLE
Introduce your children to skiing with this fun informative lesson given by our kid-friendly instructors. Parental participation is required. Sign up at the Discovery Lodge Snowsports desk. What better way to learn to ski or learn to snowboard at an early age?
Price: $12 per child for 1 hour
Ages: 5-7
Daily: 11 AM & 1 PM

GROUP CLINICS
Have you advanced beyond the Learning Circle and want to take the next step toward mastering the upper mountain? Sign up for a group clinic at the Discovery Lodge, where our patient and knowledgeable instructors can guide you through the process. For the intermediate and expert skier and rider who wants to advance, let one of our highly skilled instructors help you hone your technique by signing up for a group clinic at the Overlook Lodge.
Price: $30 for skiers/riders
Ages: 8 to adult
Weekends/Holidays: 10 AM & 1 PM; lessons last for 1 hour
(1½ hours for 3+ people)
Midweek: 10 AM, 11:30 am & 1 PM; lessons last for 1 hour
(1½ hours for 3+ people)

PRIVATE CLINICS
This pro one-on-one session covers all ability levels in skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing and cross-country. A private clinic can teach you the basics or help you advance to the next level. Work on something specific such as high-performance moguls, steeps, glades, race techniques or the terrain park. Sign up for beginner to novice and all cross-country lessons at the Discovery Lodge; for intermediate to expert lessons, sign up at the Overlook Lodge.
Price: $65 for 1 hour ($30/hour for additional person)
Lessons are scheduled every hour on the hour from 9 AM - 3 PM
$162 for ½ day (9:30 AM-noon or 1 PM - 3:30 PM)
$325 for full day (9:30 AM - noon & 1 PM - 3:30 PM)
$325 for book of five one-hour private lessons

HIRING/TRAINING CLINIC
Take advantage of this opportunity to learn teaching skills and improve your skiing for the season or for a chance to be hired as a Belleayre Mountain Snowsports Instructor. The clinic includes on-hill training as well as indoor sessions. The clinic leader will lead you through a series of skiing/riding exercises, tasks and presentations to determine your ability level of skiing/riding, your aptitude for teaching and to generally get to know you. At the end of this four-day period, we will make a selection of those individuals we feel possess the skills needed to become Belleayre instructors. If selected, you will receive further training and will shadow actual classes in preparation for the season. You may take advantage of this program and all it has to offer even if you do not wish to be an instructor.
Dates: November 29 - 30, 2008 and December 6 - 7, 2008
Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM, Saturday and Sunday
Price: $95 (includes 4 days of lift access, skill development, progressions and methodology training.)


NASTAR
Wondering how fast you can make it down a race course? Try the NASTAR course located at mid-station Yahoo, accessed from lift 7. Register at the NASTAR shack located at the top of the course and compete against the best racers in the nation via computerized results viewed at
www.nastar.com.
Price: $5 for two runs
Times: Daily from 10am - 3pm
